Joe Jackson, MAI, CCIM, MRICS – Founder & Managing Partner, Metrolina Capital Parnters

Joe Jackson, MAI, CCIM, MRICS, brings 30+ years of experience to Metrolina Capital Partners in commercial valuations, analytics, lending, development, and consulting.

Joe is also the Founder and Managing Partner of Metrolina Capital, an affiliated real estate investment firm.  Joe has been a commercial Real Estate Appraiser since 1990 and has been a licensed Real Estate Broker since 1984.  Joe has earned the MAI (Member Appraisal Institute) membership designation, which is held by professionals who can provide a wide range of services relating to all types of real property, such as providing opinions of value, evaluations, reviews, and consulting regarding investment decisions.  In addition, Joe holds the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation, a globally recognized designation with members across North America and in more than 30 countries.

CCIMs have completed a designation curriculum that covers essential CCIM skill sets including ethics, negotiation, financial analysis, market analysis, user decision analysis, and investment analysis for commercial investment real estate.  CCIMs have completed a significant portfolio requirement demonstrating the depth of their commercial real estate experience. Finally, they have demonstrated their proficiency in the CCIM skill sets by successfully completing a comprehensive examination.

Joe’s understanding of business has always been second nature, even from his childhood as an extra hand around the family-run cash grocery.  He continues his business-minded perspective, maintaining a fast-paced, meticulous work ethic.  He actively volunteers in his community, both personally and professionally, serving on numerous boards.  Lastly, Joe began this whole process by obtaining his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

 

Harry M. Tsumas – Partner, Metrolina Capital Partners

Harry M. Tsumas brings 25+ years of experience to Metrolina Capital in industrial development and commercial real estate. This experience is accompanied by a proven track record of success working with distressed assets, securing capital for investment properties, and sourcing income opportunities for his clients.

For three generations, he and his family have been building successful industrial installations in Iredell County. As a young man, Harry joined the family business in Ready Mix Concrete and Block Manufacturing. With over 20 years of experience in that industry, Harry was instrumental in growing his family business into one of the largest privately owned concrete operations across North and South Carolina before it was sold.  His family business began with one concrete plant, and through several mergers and acquisitions, it grew to 19 concrete plants, 3 block plants and 1 sand operation.

In 1996, Harry founded Tsumas Real Estate and Development and employed nearly 20 agents focused on retail real estate. He now dedicates his time on one of the largest sectors; the commercial property market. He has completed many projects in the area. Commercial Development projects include: Lake Norman Industrial Park, South East Industrial Park, East Iredell Industrial Park, Morlake Self Storage, Morlake Executive Suites, and Morrison Executive Suites.

Harry is a graduate of East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology. A very active member of the community, Harry has served as Deacon of the First Baptist Church in Statesville. In addition, Harry’s thought leadership has been a valuable asset to the Iredell County Planning Board, where he has served as Vice Chair; the Executive Board for Greater Statesville Development Corporation; and the Iredell County 2030 Planning Committee.
